Person-centred Counselling

One of the hallmarks of Person-centred therapy is that it views each individual of owning an innate tendency for change and personal growth. But, as with flowers, if we find ourselves in unfavourable conditions, our growth can become stunted, or moulded by others into something that doesn’t fit with who we really are as a person

I offer a free 30 min consultation. This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other a little more. I’ll take some time to learn more about what you’re bringing to the sessions, and what you would like to get from therapy; as well as what some of your personal preferences for the way in which we work together might be, if any. For you, it’s an opportunity to ask questions about what’s on offer, my experience, or way of working; along with a chance to get a sense of what we’d be like working together

EMDR: Coming soon

I am soon to embark on a training course which will prepare me to deliver EMDR! This is a particularly useful approach for processing trauma. Keep an eye out on my blog for more details and information on EMDR, in the near future
